Ste Packaging

I’ve just added and/or updated the following application packages for the iPhone & iPod Touch:

1. [upd] iNewsgroup (1.0.3) [see developer’s notes, below]
2. [upd] Chess (1.2) [”fixes important bug”]
3. [upd] PhotoBoard (0.3.2) [no notes provided]
4. [upd] iPhoneHome (0.7.3) [”Added the ability to set the shortcut yo open any of the screens on the phone. Users can now set the shortcut to be: Favorites, Recents, Contacts, Keypad or Voicemail.”]
5. [new] iAthan (0.01 beta) [”Get accurate Prayer Times. Athan and Qibla direction for thousands of cities world wide.”]
6. [upd] MobileScrobbler (1.2.3) [see developer’s notes, below]

iNewsgroup notes:

• “Real Name” option in preferences now, in order to post with your name
• Dates are now visible in thread and group views
• Fixed numerous UI glitches
• Thinks that the “message from top” bug is fixed
• Fixed potential cause of crash on initial install

MobileScrobbler notes:

• Fixed: Keep aspect ratio when scaling profile image
• Fixed: Hide the prefs keyboard when touching the Done button, a toggle slider, or a table cell title
• Fixed: Correct a typo in the French translation
• Fixed: Empty the queue more frequently and properly recover from server timeout errors
• Fixed: Reduce the font size on the love/ban/skip labels since firmware 1.1.1 doesn’t support auto-resizing. This prevents the French translation of “Love” from being truncated.
