iPhone and iPod Touch application and package updates …

I’ve just added and/or updated the following application packages for the iPhone & iPod Touch:

  1. [upd] iAthan (0.04 beta) [see developer’s notes, below]
  2. [upd] SMSD (0.2.1) [see developer’s notes, below]
  3. [upd] BlockPuzzle (1.2) [added 7 new levels and it works with a highscore server now]
  4. [upd] MobileScrobbler (1.2.5) [see developer’s notes, below]

iAthan notes:

  • Athan Selection fixed for Medina
  • Hijri date correction fixed
  • iAthan now launches at prayer times automatically (however for now it still does not support waking the phone up from sleep)
  • City deletion problem fixed for the default city, ‘London’
  • Vibration alerts added

SMSD notes:

  • Localization:

  • New: Use album art from iTunes when available
  • New: Cache Last.fm album art for local songs
  • New: Handle LyricWiki #Redirect macro
  • New: Norwegian translation by Remi Reksten
  • New: Polish translation by b4it
  • New: Simplified Chinese translation by Jimmy Lvo
  • Fixed: Fix scrobbling over EDGE
  • Fixed: Prevent MobileMusicPlayer from being launched when polling playback status
  • Fixed: Improved scrobble daemon startup
  • Fixed: Shut down scrobble daemon when scrobbling is disabled
  • Fixed: Make silent.wav dummy sound actually silent
  • Fixed: Use the 50×50 square avatar image from Last.fm
